Sleek, efficient, and forward-thinking – there’s so much to love about a Chevy EV. The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV and the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV have similarities and distinct differences. We’re taking a closer look at each of these new SUVs at Carroll Chevrolet.
Power
The Chevy Equinox EV has a single motor and is also available with dual-motor AWD models. The AWD models generate an enticing 288 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque. The Chevy Blazer EV is available with front, rear, and all-wheel drive. Peak performance is found in the SS model, which uses the Wide Open Watts™ feature to deliver a whopping 557 horsepower and 648 lb-ft of torque.
Range
There’s no range anxiety included with Chevy EVs. Their range depends on your driving conditions, as well as the powertrain you choose. Select Chevy Equinox EV models earn a 319-mile range, while select Chevy Blazer EV models can travel up to 324 miles on a single charge.
Technology
Both SUVs have cutting-edge technology, including an 11-inch digital gauge cluster display. The Chevy Blazer EV comes standard with a 17.7-inch infotainment screen, which is optional in the Chevy Equinox EV. They’re both available with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.
Size
Each of these SUVs features versatile five-passenger cabins. They are similar in size, but the midsize Chevrolet Blazer EV is slightly larger. It also has a larger cargo area, with the rear seats folded flat, although the compact Chevrolet Equinox EV can carry somewhat more cargo when all five seats are in use.
